'Soundsbysail' is owned and operated by Phil and Deborah Clegg, and is based in the Kenepuru Sound in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Phil gained much of his commercial sailing experience working with a Sydney-based yacht charter company, Sydney by Sail, where he taught sailing, skippered charters, and along with Deborah, helped deliver yachts from Sydney to Hamilton Island in the Whitsunday Islands, Queensland, Australia.
